  Nothing more I like to do to get geared up for Del's Groove's 2014 Wedding season is to write a blog about one of our last years couples! We were fortunate enough to work once again with the very talented Chris Kendig. Chris has one of the most incredible eyes capturing the best moments. We were also delighted to work once again at the John J Audubon Center. Rustic yet contemporary venue to say the least with it's breathtaking grounds. Both venue and photographer worth a consideration for your event!
Brian & Maggies October wedding with their families and guests were a blast! Not to mention what a gorgeous couple!

Del's Groove RoCkS Jenna & Tadd's Reception on the road in Alexandria VA!

Del's Groove RoCkS the reception of Gillian & Vince at Merion Tribute House!

What a great time Del's Groove had with the families & friends of Gillian & Vince! All I can say is fun, fun, fun!! Gillian & Vince opened the dance floor with their first dance to Make You Feel My Love, Adele's version. Many do not know but this awesome song was written by Bob Dylan. I was thrilled I had the opportunity to sing it for them. Merion Tribute house rocked to the sounds of Del's Groove.
On the tables were photos of Gillian & Vince from their younger years and it was a warm touch added by the awesome families of these two.

Heather & Dave! Del's Groove RoCk'S Reception at Springfield Country Club!

Nothing better than sharing a couple's wedding day when you know their family! Heather & Dave were married on June 22nd 2013. Del's Groove had the privilege to perform at their reception at the Springfield Country Club. Love filled the room as the couple entered and danced their first dance to a classic, Baby I Love Your Way by Peter Frampton, performed by Del's Groove's Jude Dandelion.
 Dave & Heather's smile lit the room into the evening. Off to the Bahama's this sweet couple went on their honeymoon. Speaking of "sweet" Check out Heather's site for yummy cupcakes!

Joe & Danielle Ringing in the New Year Married!

 

 

 

 

There is no better way to ring in the new year than a wedding! Danielle & Joe Started their life together as husband and wife at the beautiful Belle Voir Manor. With Del and Steve providing the ceremony music, and special guests Petie & Tony DelPizzo performing their rendition of "I Won't Give Up" as this fun couple danced their first dance. The bling, the smiles, and the never ending dancing to the music of Del's Groove were all the ingredients that made ringing in 2013 one of the most memorable occasions Del's Groove had the pleasure to take part in!

         Kirby & Joe were married on October 6th, 2012. Del's Groove RoCkEd this Reception starting with this beautiful couple entering to Dynamite by Taio Cruz! On this perfect Autumn day, the next perfect thing was their choice to have The Phoenixville Foundry for their reception. Welcoming their gusts were the caramel apple place cards surrounding monogrammed pumpkins, what a great idea!
        Kirby & Joe opened the dance floor with their first dance to In My Life by the Beatles. No matter how many times Del's Groove plays that as a couples first dance, it never gets old. It is truly one of the best choices. The evening continued with Del's Groove packing the dance floor and enjoying all of Kirby & Joe's family & friends, we had a blast entertaining everyone. I cannot complete this blog without giving props to Kirby and her amazing gown! In the middle of a song I had to whisper to her, "I love you gown! It is my favorite ever!" Kirby looked like a princess, and all I can say is Joe is definitely her prince, and a singing one at that!
Thank you so much Kirby & Joe for allowing Del's Groove to take part in your special day, it will always be one of my most memorable!

Del's Groove RoCk'S the Reception of Nicole & Paul!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Nicole & Paul entered their reception to the Theme from Rocky. Little did Del's Groove know as they played the popular theme with our horn section wailing, did we know Paul would be dressed in the silk robe just like Rocky did! This couple set the tone in perfect harmony not only with Del's Groove, but their awesome friends & family to RoCk this reception! Nicole & Paul had our guitarist and vocalist Raymond Smith start the party with their favorite tunes at cocktail hour. The date was September 29th, 2012 at the beautiful venue at The Bank Barn at The Highpoint. Attention to detail, this couple hosted a spectacular party for everyone. Del's Groove had the dance floor packed and everyone had a blast! Thank you Nicole & Paul for choosing Del's Groove to perform at your wedding, it will certainly be a wedding we will never forget!

Dels Groove RoCkS the Tent at Meghan & Dans Wedding

         The first thing that comes to mind is Del's Groove never opened up the dance floor like we did at Meghan & Dan's wedding! Meghans dad Tom certainly got the momentum going when he danced with his daughter to Old Time Rock and Roll. All the guests filled the floor and the party seemed to never end! This of course after Meghan and Dan danced their first dance to Hallelujah by Jeff Buckley done beautifully by vocalist Philip Joseph. We finally got Dan to share a moment with his mom as they danced to Wonderful World.

        The beautiful estate at Andalusia RoCkEd into the evening under the grand tent surrounded by the river and trees. Del's Groove had such a blast with this lovely couple, their friends and families. The favorites of this couple they shared with their guests, especially memorable was the milk and freshly baked cookies they served mid evening. The special touches this special coupled shared will always be remembered.
