Meg & Dan were married on September 22, 2012. Del's Groove had the honor to RoCk their Reception at the Philadelphia Country Club! This couple danced their first dance to God Only Knows be the Beach Boys. From there on, the dance floor was packed and I am pretty sure Meg did not sit down once! Meg also helped me out with a few tunes!
We also had the pleasure to work with Avi Loren Fox Photography who was generous to allow me to use some shots for my blog, I had a tough time picking as they were all awesome. Del's Groove RoCk'S Mark & Katie's Reception at The Arts Ballroom Philadelphia!

 

 

Katie & Mark were married on September 21st 2012 at the Arts Ballroom in Philadelphia. This gorgeous couple entered the room as Del's Groove played September by Earth, Wind & Fire. This beautiful venue was themed with tables marked as all the popular streets in the city. It's always special when we get to share in couples special day especially when we had the pleasure to share a wedding day with couples from our past weddings. Familiar faces were so welcoming and we love to see everyone again. The evening was jam packed with non stop dancing as Del's Groove kept this party going. All the best in love to Katie & Mark, and thank you both for allowing Del's Groove to be a part of your special day!

Del's Groove RoCk's The Wedding of Lauren & Chris at The Drexelbrook!

On September 15th 2012, Del's Groove RoCkEd the reception of Lauren & Chris at the beautiful Drexelbrook. One of Del's Groove's favorite venues. Lauren, Chris, their friends and family were a blast! I think one of my favorite moments was when Lauren did the polka with her beautiful grandmother. Lauren & Chris danced their first dance to Calico Skies, by Paul McCartney. Our beautiful bride danced with her dad to Sweet Baby James, performed by Del's Groove's vocalist Jude, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to sing Always, an Irving Berlin composition as Chris danced with his mom. The evening continued as Del's Groove had everyone on their feet moving and grooving!

All the best to Lauren & Chris and wish them a long happy, healthy and fun filled life together!

Del's Groove RoCkS the Reception of Bud & Carrie at The Phoenixville Foundry!

Ok, when your Bride & Groom want their introduction song to the the theme from I Love Lucy, you KNOW it's going to be a party. The fun continued with Carrie & Bud dancing their first dance to You Are the Best thing right into C&C Music Factory, Gonna Make you Sweat!

Del's Groove had the pleasure to RoCk Bud & Carrie's reception at the beautiful Phoenixville Foundry. Our first time at this unique venue, Del's Groove was greeted by Facility & Events Director Bob Tomasso and Sales Coordinator Caroline DeBottis. The hospitality was warmly appreciated.
Bud & Carrie danced all night and this couple truly enjoyed their reception! Special thank you to all their family & friends who really know how to have a great time!

Del's Groove RoCk'S the Reception of Melissa & Ken!

Del's Groove Rocked the reception of Melissa & Ken on August, 4th 2012. Beginning from the ceremony with Steve & Del providing the classic touch while this sweet couple shared vows. On to cocktail hour with Del on trumpet into the reception with all eight members of Del's Groove packing the dance floor. The Pen Ryn Mansion was the perfect place to accommodate Melissa & Ken's spectacular day.

Off to the races at The Baldwin School Triple Crown Gala at The Radnor Hotel!

Del's Groove was honored to be a part of  The Triple Crown Gala benefiting The Baldwin School Saturday night April 21st. The Baldwin School, located in Bryn Mawr Pa. This school, established in 1888 is a school dedicated in academic excellence for girls and young women. Learning, honesty, respect, compassion and responsibility are the core values of The Baldwin School.
The evening started with Del's soothing jazz standards on trumpet to Del's Groove packing the dance floor! The auctioning of  amazing items benefiting the school took off! The Off to the Races theme had the ladies adorning some lovely hats as well.
Thank you Baldwin Parents Association for allowing Del's Groove to entertain, and special thank you to The Radnor Hotel for the lovely accommodations!
