           I cannot express the happiness I feel when I see our former couples families grow. Staying in touch through FaceBook has been a huge help and I am thrilled for you all. It was such a pleasure to be there at the beginning of your marriages. Del's Groove would like to take a little time out and Congratulate you all, and some even announcing your
second child is on the way! Some already there! Such blessings in 2013!
 Special congratulations to Del’s family growing with the birth of their first grandchildren, twin boys!! Keep them pictures coming! Remember..first you were the Bride & Groom! Keep that wedding day happiness with you always.

Meg & Dan were married on September 22, 2012. Del's Groove had the honor to RoCk their Reception at the Philadelphia Country Club! This couple danced their first dance to God Only Knows be the Beach Boys. From there on, the dance floor was packed and I am pretty sure Meg did not sit down once! Meg also helped me out with a few tunes!
We also had the pleasure to work with Avi Loren Fox Photography who was generous to allow me to use some shots for my blog, I had a tough time picking as they were all awesome. Del's Groove RoCk's The Wedding of Lauren & Chris at The Drexelbrook!

On September 15th 2012, Del's Groove RoCkEd the reception of Lauren & Chris at the beautiful Drexelbrook. One of Del's Groove's favorite venues. Lauren, Chris, their friends and family were a blast! I think one of my favorite moments was when Lauren did the polka with her beautiful grandmother. Lauren & Chris danced their first dance to Calico Skies, by Paul McCartney. Our beautiful bride danced with her dad to Sweet Baby James, performed by Del's Groove's vocalist Jude, and I was thrilled to have the opportunity to sing Always, an Irving Berlin composition as Chris danced with his mom. The evening continued as Del's Groove had everyone on their feet moving and grooving!

All the best to Lauren & Chris and wish them a long happy, healthy and fun filled life together!

Del's Groove RoCkS The Stone Harbor Yacht Club Commodore Ball!!

On Saturday July 16, Del's Groove RoCkeD the Commodore Ball at the Stone Harbor Yacht Club. All we can say is we could not have asked for a better group of folks to perform for! Past and present Commodores and their families packed the dance floor and even sang along with the band. We had an awesome time and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having us, YOU ALL Rocked the night away! Thank you for the special treatment and look forward to seeing you all in the future.

6th Annual MannyPalooza! With Del's Groove!

This was not my first MannyPalooza, and not my 6th, even though on July 17 the streets of Ardmore were RoCkIn! The 6th Annual MannyPalooza took place on this hot summer day and the heat in the street kept the crowd on their feet dancing to the sounds of Del's Groove! What is MannyPalooza you ask? (for those less fortunate to never have attended) MannyPalooza is a block party organized by bandleader Emanuel (Del), his family and neighbors. Featuring a Crab Feast and all kinds of foods, water ice, and just plain onld fun for the whole family. For the past several years the proceeds are donated to MusicWorks which Del's Groove is thrilled they can help out!

Everyone said this was the best MannyPalooza ever, but funny thing...everyone says that after every one, every year! Guest performers entertained in between Del's Groove, and sitting in with us for another year was Kim with her rendition of Celo Greens' Forget You! Way to go Kim! Del's Groove were also fortunate to have Tony Del Pizzo filling in for vacationing Raymond...who honestly knocked our socks off! On his way to his first year at Dukane U! All the best to you Tony, your are an excellent musician!! Rock On!
