Del's Groove RoCk's the Reception of Alesia & Christopher at The Atrium at the Curtis Center!!

Alesia & Christopher were married on May 26th 2012. Their reception was help at the beautiful Atrium at The Curtis Center in Philadelphia. You could look up and see the sky through the glass ceiling, but the stars were all on the dance floor as Del's Groove RoCked this reception.

After Chris & Alesia dance their first dance, the dance floor opened up to the sounds of Del's Groove with barely a spot free. The Atrium at The Curtis Center with it's waterfall and crystal chandeliers was the perfect venue for this gorgeous couple.

Lynn & Jon Mull Married! Del's Groove RoCkS Saucon Valley CC

Lynn & Jon were married on May 12, 2012 at the beautiful Saucon Valley Country Club. Their ceremony was accompanied by Emanuel on trumpet and Steve on keyboards. The warmth was felt by family and friends in this intimate setting. After their vows, the cocktail hour moved onto the patio with the smooth sax sounds by Michael while guests gathered greeting each other. When the reception opened Lynn & Jon opened the dance floor with their first dance to "Come away with Me" by Norah Jones. There is always one notable vibe I get from every wedding we do, our couple were so relaxed and truly enjoyed each other and their guests. Lynn was stunning and it takes her no effort to do so, a natural, classic, beautiful woman. Jon, well, all I can say is his smile lit up the night!  Del's Groove provided all the music from beginning to end. As usual, we packed the dance floor! Del's Groove opened up their 2012 wedding season with this beautiful couple and wish Lynn & Jon all the best and many thanks to their family and friends for making us feel so welcome.

Del's Groove RoCk's The Italian Market 2012 Festival!

The Philadelphia 2012 Italian Festival at the Italian Market was held on Saturday & Sunday May 19 & 20 2012! Del's Groove performed on that Saturday and had the crowd dancing in the streets. It was so much fun hanging out with our friends and especially some of our former couples that we had the privilege to share in their wedding day! This was THE place to be if you wanted to sample the scrumptious foods that were offered. Vendors adorned 9th St. With not only the sounds of Del's Groove in the background, but many other acts as well.

Many thanks to The Zeo Brothers who provided the sound, and WMGK & WBEN production director Dan Fein for the invite!! Special thanks to stage manager Jason Gooch from WMGK (and letting me yell GOOCH!) all day!!

Del's Groove RoCkS St. Francis Fundraiser at Greenville Country Club

            Some awesome fundraising done by the Give Back Bash Committee on Friday evening May 11th! The Give Back Bash was held at Greenville Country Club in DE. all proceeds went to St. Francis Hospital in DE. The auction took place in between dancing with music provided by Del's Groove and after all these wonderful donations, more dancing! We had a blast, not to mention seeing several of our friends from Stone Harbor Yacht Club as well.

Del's Groove performs at Melmark 2012 Dream Makers Gala at Hotel Dupont

It has been five wonderful years so far being a member of Philadelphia's favorite party band Del's Groove, better than that, my third time being a part of Melmark's Dream Maker's Ball. This year held at the beautiful Hotel Dupont, on Saturday May 5th 2012. This year the Melmark players once again thrilled the audience with their "Best of Broadway" show. Also sharing the stage with this extraordinary group was Miss Maine 2011 Julia Furtado with her grace and beauty, and CBS3's very own Jim Donovan as Master of Ceremonies. The 2012 Humanitarian Award Recipient was Mr. & Mrs. Richard G. Phillips.

After the show, the dance floor opened up to the sounds of Del's Groove and we got some back up assistance from a few special friends! You all rocked the house and we thank you!

Off to the races at The Baldwin School Triple Crown Gala at The Radnor Hotel!

Del's Groove was honored to be a part of  The Triple Crown Gala benefiting The Baldwin School Saturday night April 21st. The Baldwin School, located in Bryn Mawr Pa. This school, established in 1888 is a school dedicated in academic excellence for girls and young women. Learning, honesty, respect, compassion and responsibility are the core values of The Baldwin School.
The evening started with Del's soothing jazz standards on trumpet to Del's Groove packing the dance floor! The auctioning of  amazing items benefiting the school took off! The Off to the Races theme had the ladies adorning some lovely hats as well.
Thank you Baldwin Parents Association for allowing Del's Groove to entertain, and special thank you to The Radnor Hotel for the lovely accommodations!

Del's Groove RoCk's Merion Mercy Academy Father Daughter Dance at The Drexelbrook!!

Once again Del's Groove had the privilege to perform for the lovely ladies of Merion Mercy Academy on February 3rd. This is our third time we have had the opportunity to share this special evening with the dad's and daughters. For some of the dad's, it was a bittersweet evening as their daughters will be moving on to college next year, so this was the last time the dad's got to get their groove on and show their girls they got it going on. All I can say is all the dad's can keep up! Del's Groove especially enjoyed dad; Vai Sikahema sitting in with the band on vocals with his rendition of My Girl dedicated to not just his daughter Lana, but all the young ladies. See, Vai turned down covering the Super Bowl since this was Lana's last father - daughter dance graduating this year.

Once again, the Drexelbrook had every detail covered in the room making it a warm and eventful, fun evening.

Thank you Merion Mercy Academy for once again allowing us to perform on this special occasion!
